School Uniform

We expect all our children to wear our uniform and we ask all parents and carers support us with this expectation.

We believe a uniform allows children to feel equal and instills a feeling of discipline, security and respect and adds to our positive atmosphere of learning.

PCPS uniform is as follows:

Black or grey trousers, skirts or pinafore style dresses.

White polo shirts or button up shirts

(we understand some pupils are wearing pale blue that have already purchased but please buy white from now on)

Navy blue jumpers or cardigans (ideally with our logo displayed)

Black shoes which can be fastened by the children- please no trainers. But we will accept black daps/ plimpsols

Also during warmer weather:

Black or grey shorts

(not sport style or with logos, smart rather than cargo style)

Blue summer dresses

Flat sandals but no flip flops for health and safety reasons

Hats for playtimes and PE sessions to protect from the sun

Coats are an essential part of the uniform as it enables us to have outside play even on days where the weather is changeable

PE kit also forms part of our uniform

Plain white T-shirt (no branded sport kits/ football shirts etc.)

Black, blue or grey shorts

or jogging bottoms

Daps or trainers (to change into- different from what they wear to school)

Children should not wear jewellery. Children with pierced ears should only wear simple studs and parents are advised to remove all earrings on days when children have P.E.

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with children’s names
